Over the last eighteen months they have reduced their stockholdings of slow moving office products, and at the same time offered their customers a wider range of office products than ever before. The answer is a "Cross Dock" solution... and Banner makes it work more effectively than any other NHS Supply Chain supplier. We receive orders from Trusts electronically, and pick and pack them to ward level. These orders are palletised and shipped into the appropriate NHS Supply Chain Distribution Centre, where they are amalgamated ("cross-docked") with other items the Trust has ordered and delivered together with them the next day.
