Banner attends May Day Business Summit

Representatives from Banner attended the May Day Business Summit on climate change held on May 1st 2008.

Banner is committed to addressing climate change and is an active member of the May Day Network, founded by HRH The Prince of Wales. The May Day Business Summit is the largest gathering of UK companies committed to taking positive action on climate change. Keynote speakers included HRH The Prince of Wales and the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.

Banner reported back on the actions that we have taken to make our business activities more sustainable. We highlighted the success of our Green OPTIMISA™ system in identifying potential opportunities for our customers to reduce the environmental impacts of purchasing. Clear environmental targets are identified and we work closely with our customers to achieve them.
