Environmental Policy

office2office plc is committed to minimising the impact that its activities have on the environment and to adopting the principles of sustainable development.

All companies within the group are committed to:

• Identify the environmental impacts of existing and new activities; to mitigate those with significant impacts over which we have control or can be expected to exert influence.
• Establish an Environmental Management System, along the guidelines of BS EN ISO 14001; develop the system for the environmental management of company activities (i.e. services and products for customers and supporting processes) towards recognised best practice.
• Develop environmental objectives and targets through the management review process with the aim of achieving continual improvement in environmental performance.
• Identify and comply with relevant environmental legislation.
• Minimise consumption of energy and other natural resources whilst maximising the efficiency with which they are used.
• Minimise pollution and where feasible, the prevention of pollution.
• Minimise production of waste whilst promoting recycling and the use of products containing recycled materials.
• Maintain reliable information on the environmental impact of the goods and services it supplies; and presenting this to customers to enable them to make an informed choice on environmental grounds.
• Work in partnership with our suppliers to provide goods and services with the minimum adverse environmental impact, supporting the adoption of Environmental Management Systems and certification schemes and where commercial considerations allow, giving preference to such suppliers.
• Recognise that every member of staff can contribute to improving our environmental performance; develop the environmental awareness/skills of staff and encourage them to adopt effective environmental practices to minimise any adverse impacts of our activities.

The Human Resources Director will present progress reviews periodically to the Board.
