Celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight 22nd February - 7th March (01.03.2010): Fairtrade Fortnight will run from 22nd February – 7th March 2010. Events will be held across the UK to highlight the growing range of Fairtrade products and the importance of supporting producers in the developing world.
Banner holds charity cake sale (11.02.2010): Banner is holding a charity cake sale at its Head Office in Norwich. A selection of home-baked cakes and biscuits will be available, with all proceeds donated to Norfolk Young Carers.
Banner launches battery recycling service (01.02.2010): Banner now provides a free take-back and recycling service for portable waste batteries.
New 2010 Banner catalogue launched (06.01.2010): Banner has launched its 2010 catalogue, packed full of exciting new products and featuring our range of business services. Customers will be receiving their copies in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for your new catalogue.
Manchester staff raise funds for Camberwell Park (29.12.2009): Employees at our National Distribution Centre in Manchester have raised over £85 for their chosen local school, Camberwell Park.
Basingstoke staff to support Piam Brown Ward (21.12.2009): Staff at our Basingstoke Distribution Centre have chosen the local charity they will be supporting in 2010. Employees were invited to nominate their suggested charities, with Piam Brown Ward emerging as the clear favourite.
Banner staff support local school (15.12.2009): Staff at our Manchester Distribution centre will be testing their brainpower to raise money for their chosen local school, Camberwell Park.
Christmas card competition winners (08.12.2009): Banner is delighted to announce we have chosen three lucky winners in our Christmas card competition. The competition was run in conjunction with Lakenham Primary School, situated close to our head office in Norwich.
Computer Security Day 30th November (25.11.2009): It’s Computer Security Day on 30th November, an annual event to help raise awareness of computer related security issues. The theme for this year is “Managing Risk”.
Banner presented with Green Apple Awards (17.11.2009): Banner will be presented with two Green Apple Awards at the House of Commons today. Green Apples are awarded for environmental best practice and are organised by the Green Organisation, an independent, non-political, non-activist, non-profit environment group.

Swine flu vaccine approved (05.10.2009): The European Medicines Agency has recommended that the Pandremix swine flu vaccine be authorised for use. Another vaccine is still going through the licensing process.

British electronic waste dumped in Ghana (19.08.2009): Electronic waste originating from Britain has been discovered on the outskirts of the Ghanaian capital, Accra. The waste includes computers, monitor screens, fridges and microwaves.
Swine Flu cases could number 100,000 a day (22.07.2009): Andy Burham, Health Secretary for England, has announced that swine flu is now widespread in the UK and spreading rapidly. He said that “cases are doubling every week and, on this trend, we could see over 100,000 cases per day by the end of August".
