Finalists in the EDP Business Awards
The office2office group, of which Banner is the largest subsidiary, has been shortlisted for two awards in this year’s EDP Business Awards. office2office is a finalist in the Environment and Sustainability category, and also for the Business Development award. The EDP Business Awards will be presented at a gala event on October 8th, and on the night one of the finalists will be named as Business of the Year.
The nomination for the Business Development Award recognises the new opportunities that the group has created through strategic acquisitions, restructuring and consolidation. office2office has expanded its provision of business services, and is a leading provider of managed procurement, secure destruction and business communication services. The new closed loop service is a revolutionary recycling service available to public and private sector clients. Used confidential paper is collected and securely destroyed by the Banner shredding service before the same paper is turned into clean copier paper and delivered back to the original customer.
The group has also been selected as a finalist for the Environment and Sustainability award. office2office is committed to being a responsible and ethical business and closely monitors its own environmental performance. Energy use, fuel consumption and the volume of packaging for deliveries are all measured, and the results are published in an annual CSR report. Carbon management is a key issue for the business and there has been significant investment in fuel-efficient vehicles, delivery routing software and improved fuel efficiency.
