Banner became a limited company in 1999, following a management buy-in / buy-out. Prior to that time, the company operated as a trading division of The Stationery Office Limited, which was itself formed out of the privatisation of Her Majesty's Stationery Office (HMSO) in 1996. As part of HMSO, our history of serving the public sector stretches back over 200 years.
