Banner is the largest subsidiary of office2office plc. We have a unique history and an exciting future.

A unique history

Banner was originally a division of Her Majesty’s Stationery Office (HMSO). HMSO was privatised in 1996, at which time Banner became the largest division of the new company (called “The Stationery Office”).

Banner became a limited company in its own right following a management buy-in / buy-out in 2000, under a new parent company called “office2office”. At that time, the company’s name was “Banner Business Supplies Limited”.

Our parent company, office2office, was listed on the main London Stock Exchange in 2004.

Looking forward

Today, Banner is one of the leading suppliers of office products and services in the UK and Ireland. Since 2000, we have enjoyed significant and profitable growth, driven by competitive prices, excellent service and proactive account management.

In 2009 we changed our name to “Banner Business Services” to better reflect the nature of our business. We operate specialist in-house divisions to deliver managed procurement, business communications and secure document destruction services for our customers.

Moving forwards, Banner is committed to delivering further growth whilst ensuring the highest standards of business ethics, corporate responsibility and environmental sustainability.
